Free Tax Preparation at H&R Block

Ahhh. The good old days of the 1040 EZ tax return. For me, those days are long gone. But if you qualify for a 1040 EZ tax return, H&R Block will do it for you for free.

Here what you need to qualify for a free simple tax return:

• A filing status of Single or Married Filing Jointly
• No dependents/children
• No itemized deductions
• A taxable income of less than $100,000

Although the Federal tax return is free, it’ll cost you $39 if you also want H&R Block to do your state tax return.

This deal expires on February 29, 2012.
