The 2023 4th of July falls on a Tuesday this year and there will be no shortage of fireworks, parades, food, fun and music to round out this patriotic day.
These events include fireworks, parades, live music, and festivals. They are spread out from Saturday, July 1 to Tuesday, July 4, 2022. Before we list the Independence Day events in Myrtle Beach, here are some 4th of July freebies, deals, events and discounts you won’t want to miss!
• FREE Fishing Day
On July 4th, you can freshwater fish without a fishing license. Fish in any public body of water without a license. Other regulations, such as size limitations and lure restrictions, still apply. If you don’t have fishing equipment, many facilities operate a tackle loan program.
• Summer Nights at Broadway
The fun continues at Broadway at the Beach with the annual Summer Nights celebrations. Some of the fun includes Mr. Nigels Dance Party and costumed stilt walkers.
• Barefoot Landing SummerFest!
SummerFest! at Barefoot Landing features Matt Parker performing on the Pepsi Stage. Strolling characters to meet, greet and take pictures

4th of July Music Fest featuring The Mystery Band, 2:00-5:30 p.m., and Blue Monday, 2:00-5:30 p.m.
• Gump Fiction at Local on the Water
1525 13th Ave N, North Myrtle Beach
The ultimate 90’s party band, Gump Fiction will hit the Local on the Water stage in North Myrtle Beach on July 4th at 6:30 p.m. A great time is guaranteed for all. This is a fun band to listen to.
• Tin Roof Independence Week Celebration
1410 North Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach
Make Tin Roof a part of your Independence Week plans! They will have live entertainment every night and their ocean front patio will be a great view for fireworks throughout the night on 4th of July!
• Krispy Kreme Patriotic Doughnuts
On July 4, customers wearing red, white and blue enjoy a FREE Original Glazed doughnut at participating shops. Limit one per person.
Krispy Kreme is also offering their “Stars & Stripes” doughnut collection June 21 to July 4.

Salute From The Shore
A tradition that started over 15 years ago, South Carolina’s ‘Salute From The Shore’ features new and vintage aircraft that flies the coastline from Cherry Grove all the way down to Beaufort.

Surfside Beach Celebrations
Surfside Beach will kick off its 4th of July celebration at Martin Field, starting at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with activities for kids that include a bounce house, slip and slide, and a face-painter. Throughout the celebration, there be live music by Carolina Soul.
The annual Surfside Beach Fourth of July Golf Cart Parade down Ocean Boulevard will kick-off and 11 a.m.
Martin Field is located at 6th Ave S and Dogwood Drive, Surfside Beach, SC.
Murrells Inlet Boat Parade
The 40th annual Murrells Inlet Boat Parade will be held at 6 p.m. on July 4th. The parade starts at the Garden City Point and makes its way through Murrells Inlet. The theme this year is ‘Made in the USA’. Come enjoy the fun and cheer on your favorite boat. Fireworks from the MarshWalk will kick-off at 10 p.m.

The MarshWalk will feature live music along with great food and drinks throughout the day.
Pawley’s Island 4th of July Parade
Pawleys Island Independence Day Parade is one of the best entertainment events that take place annually in the town of Pawleys Island. Participants are encouraged to use their imaginations to create “floats” from convertibles, flat-bed trucks, or golf carts, which are mostly decorated in red, white, and blue. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m.

Feet Fleet Sports is hosting a patriotic run July 6, at 6:30 p.m. starting at their store on 79th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.
