Keep in mind that almost all of these are national deals that are only good at participating locations (i.e., call before making a special trip). Veteran’s Day Spotlight:
Veterans Cafe and Grille, located at 3544 Northgate Drive (near the 17 Bypass interchange to Market Common), is a small cafe where different military memorabilia hangs on the walls. If you want to talk or listen to war stories, this is the place to go. By the way, the food is fantastic.

Veterans Day Events
Warbird Park: Warbird Park is home to several static aircraft displays.
The park honors the men, women and mission of the former Myrtle Beach Air Force. Warbird Park is located at the southern end of Ocean Blvd, just inside the entrance to Market Common.
There is no charge to visit the park. Several memorials honoring our countries MIA’s, Battle Cross Memorial, and Merchant Marines. You can also see the tribute to the heroes of 9/11.

Veterans Day Victory Walk

Venue: Valor Memorial Garden, Market Common

The annual Veterans Victory Walk normally held on November 11 has been postponed to Saturday, November 12 at Valor Park in Market Common because of weather. The 22-mile walk represents the 22 veterans per day who die from suicide. The walk will start at 6 a.m. Saturday and all funds raised will support local veterans.

On Veterans Day, November 11, Starbucks will offer a free tall (12-oz) hot brewed or iced coffee for veterans, military service members and military spouses at participating U.S. Starbucks stores. Shoppers need to order in store or by drive-through, not via the Starbucks app order ahead option. The free hot or cold coffee is limited to one per customer. For 2022, Starbucks is committing $200,000 split between Team Red, White and Blue, which promotes veteran community and fitness, and Team Rubicon, which organizes veterans as natural disaster responders.

Many Sports Clips locations offer free haircuts to active duty U.S. service members and veterans on November 11th, 2021. Currently, the only Sports Clips, (that our staff could find) participating in this Veteran’s Day promotion is is Sport Clips Haircuts of Sundial Plaza.
Great Clips: FREE haircuts for veterans and active duty military. Even though the haircut is free, please remember to tip your stylist. Veterans and active military members may receive either a free haircut or a free haircut card to use at a later date. Non-military customers can purchase a service on Veterans Day and get a free haircut card to give to a military service member that they know.
