Hello Team Trivia players!

As states begin lifting restrictions on businesses, games across the country will be starting back up to a completely different landscape than before. Given the unprecedented nature of this pandemic, Team Trivia will be proceeding with caution.

Each area is facing different challenges, as are each of our venues, and so they will open back up at different rates. We appreciate your patience as we work to respect the safety and health of our hosts, as well as all of you.

While restaurants and bars are being held to their local government restrictions, each of our games may be subject to a variety of extra adjustments: Games may be limited to how many teams can play, teams may be limited to a specific number of players, hosts may be relocated to different areas of the venues, scoring procedures may be done differently to ensure adherence to social distancing guidelines, hosts (who have full authority to determine when they prefer to return) may be substituted or have specific guidelines applied to their individual games depending on their comfort levels and needs, among others. Please look to your area’s management for updates regarding local measures.

In spite of everything we and the venues do to try to make things as safe as possible, we ask that players understand that their actions and precautions are the biggest determining factor when it comes to safety; keep an eye on local, state, and federal official recommendations, and stay safe out there.

And while we cannot wait to see you all again and catch up, we urge you to come to our games only when you feel ready to step back out into the world. We want you all to move at a pace that is comfortable for you. Most importantly, we expect you to prioritize your health. And for those who will be joining us earlier rather than later, please respect all our host and venue guidelines. If you exhibit symptoms of any illness, please stay home, and recover before joining us. Lastly, it would be a good idea to call ahead to your favorite Team Trivia venue to get the scoop on capacity, hours, reservation requirements, and any last-minute changes.
