Horry County will participate in the International Overdose Awareness Day on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Chapin Park in Myrtle Beach.
This event will start at 6 p.m. and includes free food, speakers, recovery resources and information on support services.
This is part of the world’s annual campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died, and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind.
We will come together to recognize those who go unseen and to honor the people whose lives have been altered by overdose.
We are coming together in our local community to host an event that will include:
- Free Food
- Resources & Community Outreach on site
- Visual to honor those we have lost
