I’m willing to bet that nearly everyone who reads this article has in some shape, form or fashion, has, or had a loved one who has been afflicted with this slowly debilitating and incurable disease. It does not discriminate on race, creed, religion or social status. Alzheimer’s isn’t just an “old person’s” disease. Watching a loved one or friend lose their mental status is both sad and heart wrenching.
The Alzheimer’s Organization main focus is Alzheimer’s research to find a cure for this disease.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s is full of flowers, each carried by someone committed to raising funds and awareness for a breakthrough in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Whether you join us in person or Walk From Home, your participation makes a difference in the lives of those facing the disease.

Does every participant get a T-shirt?
Every registered participant who achieves the fundraising minimum of $100 will receive an official Walk to End Alzheimer’s T-shirt via USPS. To receive a shirt in time for Walk day, participants must raise the T-shirt minimum at least four weeks prior to the event.
How do I get my offline donations to show up on my personal fundraising web page?
Donations can be made offline by submitting a check or money order by mail or hand-delivering to the local Alzheimer’s Association office. Be sure to include your offline donation form, which can be found in your Participant Center or on your fundraising web page, to make sure you receive credit for the donation. Donations typically take one to two weeks to show up on your web page. Don’t want to wait? You can also deposit checks directly to your Walk page from the Walk to End Alzheimer’s mobile app for iPhone or Android.
There is no fee to register for the 2023 Walk To End Alzheimer’s, all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support and advance research toward methods of prevention, treatment and, ultimately, a cure.
