Daycations with North Myrtle Beach offers residents a way to get out and see the Carolinas on the cheap

Each month, Daycations with North Myrtle Beach will be visiting a new city, festival, or attraction to get you out and seeing the beautiful Carolinas through Daycation Destinations

Trips are limited to a small group, and use the NMB Parks and Recreation van to keep costs down.

Daycations with North Myrtle Beach will allow travelers the opportunity to see different cities or experience festivals. These trips will be one day only and will depart from J. Bryan Floyd Community Center located at 1030 Possum Trot Road in North Myrtle Beach.

Prices will vary by trip. Trips will be posted as they are announced, but registration may open at a later date.

Trip Times:
Arrive at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center at 8:15 am for an 8:30 am departure to Murrells Inlet, SC.
We will depart Lake City, SC at 4:00 pm for an arrival at J. Bryan Floyd around 5:00 pm.
Trip Details:
We will start the day meeting at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center at 8:15 am for an 8:30 am departure. We will travel to Murrells Inlet, SC to enjoy a one-of-a-kind airboat tour along the Waccamaw, Black, and Pee Dee Rivers where no ordinary boat can take you. The pristine surroundings offer up close encounters with some of nature’s most awe-inspiring creatures, from native alligators to regal ospreys. Meander through back waters framed by moss-laden oak and cypress trees for an experience no other tour can provide.
After our airboat tour, we will travel to Pawleys Island, SC to enjoy some shopping and lunch on our own at The Hammock Shops and The Village Shops. We will plan to leave Pawleys Island at 4 pm to arrive at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center at 5 pm. We do our best to stick to the schedule, but sometimes driving conditions during rush hour cause us to arrive back at the community center later than planned. Please plan accordingly.
