12. Hollywood Wax Museum King Kong
King Kong scaling the Empire State Building atop the Myrtle Beach Hollywood Wax Museum is one of the Instagram sights you can’t miss. Might as well get that selfie with “Oscar” while you’re at it.
11. Myrtle Beach Welcome sign at Business 17 and By-pass 17 split
Certainly not as famous as the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, many a vacationers stop here to let friends and family know that vacation time has started.
10. The Bowery
The Bowery was once home to a country-rock band called “Alabama”. As the house band, they honed their music here to become one of the biggest national acts ever seen. Numerous recording awards such as “Entertainer of the Year”, while reeling off 21 straight #1 singles.
9. The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk
The MarshWalk, located in the heart of the historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet is a ½ mile wooden boardwalk along a natural saltwater estuary. Peaceful and serene Instagram moments is the winner here.
8. Pawley’s Island Hammocks
Oh come on, admit it, when you visited the Pawley’s Island Hammock Shops you couldn’t resist plopping down on a hammock and snapping a selfie.
7. Myrtle Beach Slingshot Thrill Ride
Rumor has it there are several spots across the street from The Slingshot that are so popular with the selfie and Instagram crowd, that the city of Myrtle Beach voted down putting any buildings there.
